Tandoori Spiced Baked Fish

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets of your preferred white fish (such as tilapia or cod)
  • 3 tablespoons Get Grill Tandoori Spice
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade
    In a bowl, combine Get Grill Tandoori Spice, plain yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, ground cumin, ground coriander, and paprika. Mix well to create a smooth marinade.
  2. Marinate the Fish
    Coat each fish fillet thoroughly with the Tandoori marinade. Ensure the fish is well-covered. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, allowing the flavors to meld.
  3. Preheat the Oven
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Bake the Fish
    Place the marinated fish fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with vegetable oil. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
  5. Broil for Char (Optional)
    If desired, broil the fish for an additional 2-3 minutes to achieve a slightly charred effect on the top.
  6. Garnish and Serve
    Garnish the Tandoori Spiced Baked Fish with fresh cilantro if desired. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
