Ingredients
- 1 block firm tofu, pressed and sliced into ½-inch thick slabs
- 2 tablespoons Get Grill Mediterranean Spice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, whisk together Get Grill Mediterranean Spice, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano and pepper. Mix until the spices are well incorporated. - Marinate the Tofu
Place the tofu slabs in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the Mediterranean spice marinade over the tofu, ensuring each slab is coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse. - Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. - Grill the Tofu
Remove the tofu from the marinade and grill for about 3-4 minutes per side or until grill marks form, and the tofu is heated through. - Baste with Marinade (Optional)
During grilling, you can brush the tofu with any leftover marinade for extra flavor. - Rest and Garnish
Remove the grilled tofu from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. - Serve
Serve the Mediterranean Spice Grilled Tofu hot with lemon wedges on the side. It pairs well with a side salad, couscous, or quinoa.
