Cajun Boneless Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Get Grill Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
    In a small bowl, mix Cajun seasoning, paprika, thyme, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper
  2. Season the Chicken
    Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of each chicken breast. Ensure that the chicken is well-coated with the seasoning.
  3. Heat the Pan
    Heat a cast-iron skillet or a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and let it heat until it shimmers.
  4. Cook the Chicken
    Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the hot pan. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is nicely blackened and cooked through.
  5. Rest and Serve
    Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to be redistributed.
  6. Serve
    Slice the chicken and serve it with your favorite side dishes. Consider pairing it with a refreshing salad, rice, or vegetables.
